....for 4 minutes. HA!!! I ran in front of my house and it felt too weird. I'm hitting the beach Thurday, I plan on going for a barefooted run on the sand. In the sand I mean. I do believe this running without shoes will take a little getting used to.

I would be careful on the running barefoot. I find the shoes provide so much needed support.
But the good thing is your running!
I saw a guy running past me recently in those toe shoes and it looked hilarious. He seemed happy but I wondered how his feet felt after a few miles on the concrete. You can be our test case. Try it out and report back!
My friend said she saw 2 old men in her last marathon run barefoot.. No thanks. Now I could see why it could be apealing in the sand but not on the streets. I am feeling better and I am back to running again. It was my longest time off from it one whole week, but I guess they are right your body needs time to recover. Have a great week Kim!
Barefoot running sounds soooo nie, but my high arches can't take much of it. Boo-hiss! I wonder if anybody makes 'beach specific' running shoes??
